Hi! I'm Ignat, the founder of BuyCG.

In 2023 I was looking for a home for my own family in Montenegro. Searching, checking and buying took almost a year. I saw it all: paperwork that didn't match reality, unlegalised buildings, requests to pay “half in cash”, unpaid utility bills and taxes left by previous owners. Even after the purchase, hidden defects turned up in the house, and I had to fix them at my own expense.

That's when I realised: the resale market here is often a gamble. An agency is paid for closing the deal, not for making sure you know everything about the house.

I brought together the people I went through my own purchase with — a notary, an engineer, trusted craftsmen — and started helping friends. In 2024 that was 8 families, in 2025 already 15: some had to sell quickly because they were moving, others wanted to buy. Today people come to me every day on recommendation, even strangers.

That's how BuyCG began. We work on the Herceg Novi Riviera and check every property in full before a deal: documents and cadastre, the structure of the building, the technical systems and the real price — so that both you and we see the whole picture before signing at the notary, not after.
